Ha! Ha! Ha! You do remind me of Dilbert, this is Dilbert right? You may think you're in Hell when the wind blows up there in IL, but with your angel of a sister so close, your soul will be spared due to my intense goodness. This is funny! I asked mom what you did, but I can't remember where you work, what are the answers?
Well... I am the Chief Operations Officer for HTMT Global Solutions in Manila. That means I basically run the business in the Philippines. I sign the checks, I hire the managers, everything. I am also responsible for meeting with all of the clients and maintaining the relationships. When we move to Illinois, I will become VP for North America and will not be running the day to day, but will own the client relationships. I am looking forward to it.
I work in the Philippines, China, Canada, the US, and India, but work has also taken me to Singapore and France. I go where I am needed. I did indeed fly 225,000 miles last year.
I did try to move the family to China (at least I considered it), but Christy would indeed have considered her options...
I would love to be a professional musician (not a rock star, but an actual musician). I have been playing the guitar for several years now and am really enjoying it.
I hope to actually go back to school on the near future.
So, what do I actually do? A little bit of everything, but mostly, I make sure the clients that work with us feel secure with their decisions. Does that help?
