Mental Disorders

It took you 30+ years to figure out I have a mental disorder? Of course I do... I'm a Hayes. It's in our DNA. Our family coat of arms has a sword, a beer can, and a cowboy hat on it. I was doomed from the start.



I suppose your abiliity to read me isn't so bad... It took Christy about 10 years to learn I was psycho. Thanksfully, Nathan hasn't figured it out, but Camden has known since the day he was born. We'll give Nat another year or two.



As for Puff, so long as he dies, I don't care how it happens. Put him in the car, tell him you are taking him to a nice farm, then take care of business. I'm ok with it.



As for the Earl issues, it seems you are all convinced I have the most to apologize for... You may be right, but rather than call out your abundant and deeply personal issues, here are the things I love most about each of you.



Justin- You may be one of the smartest people I have ever met. You are good at whatever you decide to be good at. The question is making the decision. Don't doubt yourself. Anyone who can pull boxes of cookbooks out of a radio station dumpster and sell them up and down the neighborhood can do aything he wants.



Julie- Your greatest weakness is your greatest strength. You are a stubborn, stubborn, stubborn woman. You don't take no for an answer. You have a drive that blows me away. You march to your own drummer and that sets you apart from the crowd. You just keep improving and making it happen. Congrats again on your graduation.



Niesja- You might be stronger than all of us. You are easily the most dramatic of the Hayes' clan, but you have never been afraid to take a chance. You are willing to put your money where your mouth is. You just make things happen. You were the first one to really leave the state, the first one to take chance.



Chance- I did my best to kill you growing up, but you survived. I threw you off bikes, tried to kill you in the car... you just won't go down. Somehow, even amidst my idiotic behavior, you still looked up to me. You have an ability to look past people's faults and support them. You just seem to know how to love and care more than most.
